          Abstract
The course topics include patterns of child sexual assault, the family dynamics involved in incest, and strategies for interviewing child victims. Other topics are the psychology of the child sex offender, trends in laws protecting child victims, medical issues, and mental health and community resources that provide services to victims and their families. Each lesson plan includes a list of performance objectives, a detailed content outline, a list of the methods to be used in the training, equipment and materials requirements, and the amount of time needed. Handouts include checklists, a form, and excerpts of laws.
