This study reports some findings from the first part of a larger research project comparing criminal violence in Scotland and Sweden.
Abstract
The purpose of this first study is to discuss specific problems of comparability of legal definitions and official crime statistics on violence between the two countries, and to compare the rate of known violent criminality, its structure, and trends. 12 tables, 4 figures, 2 notes, 32 references.
