Abstract
ONGOING PROGRAMS INVOLVING VOLUNTEER IN THE FIELD OF CORRECTIONS ARE DESCRIBED AND EVALUATED. LETTERS ARE INCLUDED FROM AGENCIES WHICH HAVE USED THE SERVICES OF VOLUNTEERS. A SERIES OF RECOMMENDATIONS COVERS THE AREAS INTO WHICH CORRECTIONS MIGHT MOVE WITH THE AID OF VOLUNTEERS. FOOTNOTES.
