BUSINESSMEN IN THE COMMUNITY HAVE AIDED THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN FACILITY UTILIZATION STUDIES, MINORITY RECRUITMENT, CRIME PREVENTION, AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT.
Abstract
IN ADDITION, BUSINESSMEN WERE INFLUENTIAL IN STUDYING THE EFFICIENCY OF POLICE OFFICERS DIRECTING TRAFFIC AND PATROLLING PARKING METERS. AS A RESULT OF THIS STUDY, THE CITY APPROVED FUNDING OF NEW TRAFFIC DIRECTIONAL EQUIPMENT AND HIRED FOUR METER AIDES TO PATROL METERS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
