Abstract
THE PAPERS PRESENTED AT THE CONFERENCE ARE DIVIDED INTO THREE SUBJECT CATEGORIES. THE FIRST OF THESE INCLUDES PAPERS DESCRIBING VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CONFERENCE TOPICS, PARTICULARLY AS THEY ARE PECULIAR TO WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES. THE SECOND GROUP CONSIDERS PROBLEMS FACED BY CRIMINAL JUSTICE PERSONNEL. REFORMS SUGGESTED IN THE PREVIOUS TWO SECTIONS ARE COVERED IN THE THIRD.
