Abstract
IT IS SUGGESTED THAT CRIMINOLOGICAL RESEARCH BODIES INCLUDE SERVICES OPERATING WITHIN THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION WHICH COULD PROVIDE ANSWERS AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT TO PRACTICAL AND SOMETIMES URGENT QUESTIONS. HE ALSO ADVOCATES LONG TERM GOVERNMENTAL OR PRIVATE RESEARCH OF NO IMMEDIATE UTILITY.
