Abstract
The booklet's intent is to increase knowledge about what may happen when children use drugs. It describes the types of drugs and outlines four major stages of drug involvement, namely, experimental, social, dependent, and chronic. Checklists present the possible behavioral, emotional, and physical effects of drugs on children. The booklet lists contact agencies for drug information and treatment programs and for recovery information.
