This publication is the first preventive booklet targeted at husbands, partners, and live-in companions who pressure or coerce their partners into unwanted sex, or use physical force to rape them.

Abstract

The booklet is designed to help husbands and male partners to identify what actions constitute rape, accept responsibility for the harm they have caused to their partners and to themselves, begin learning how to recognize and interrupt the thinking patterns and behaviors that lead them to rape, learn how to end sexual abuse in their lives, and find out how they can become partners in healthy, nonabusive relationships.
