Resources for Grantees
The Office for Civil Rights provides technical assistance, training, and resources to help grantees and subgrantees comply with civil rights obligations, including the following:
- Civil Rights Requirements is a general overview of award requirements that relate to civil rights and nondiscrimination.
- Civil Rights Training for Grantees includes recorded video trainings for grantees on civil rights and nondiscrimination topics.
- Equal Employment Opportunity Plans explains what an Equal Employment Opportunity Plan is and when it may be required.
- Limited English Proficient (LEP) addresses how the prohibition of discrimination on the basis of national origin includes discrimination based on English proficiency.
- LGBTQ+ has examples of guidance that outline the protections provided in law against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and intersex traits.
- Partnerships with Faith-Based and Other Neighborhood Organizations includes examples of guidance that outline the protections provided in law for faith-based or religious organizations.
- Enforcement Examples include investigative findings, compliance review reports, and resolution agreements.
