This service package provides the documents necessary for stakeholders to gain an understanding of the Client Profile Query Service and the rules applicable to its implementation; the main components of the Service Specification are the Service Description and Service Interface Description documents, artifacts, sample, and schema folders with related files, and metadata files.

Abstract

The Service Description Document provides stakeholders with all aspects of the Client Profile Query Service (CPQS) that are not directly tied to the physical implementation of the service, while the Service Interface Description Document provides a description of the physical implementation of the CPQS. The Client Profile services support decision-making and resource allocation based on person-specific information; they are designed to enable sharing of client information between justice and non-justice domains, to allow for better decision-making in regard to supervision decisions and social support, as they apply to clients, their families, and the community. The Service Description Document lays out the Service overview, including scope, capabilities, real-world effects, security classification, service specification package version, and more; business scenarios; and Service interoperability requirements, including Service interaction requirements, assumptions, and dependencies, execution contacts, policies and contracts, and other requirements. The document also provides service model information, including behavior and information models. The Service Interface Description Document is a companion document to the CPQS Service Description Document, providing a physical model; Service interaction requirements; interface description requirements; message exchange patterns; policies and contracts, including umbrella agreements; security and privacy information; and service testing. The CPQS Service Specification Package also provides stakeholders with artifacts, sample, and schema folders containing relevant files.
