This web site of the U.S. Justice Department's Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) provides online access to resources for National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) for April 10-16, 2011.
The theme for NCVRW is "Reshaping the Future, Honoring the Past." The NCVRW Resource Guide contains a wide range of instructional materials, updated statistics, and promotional items. The CD-ROM provided in the resource guide discusses the maximizing of communication and awareness, artwork, advice on working with the media, landmarks in victims' rights and services, statistical overviews, and a listing of additional resources. A 5-minute DVD features interviews with criminal justice personnel, advocates, and victims whose reflections honor the progress of the victims' rights field and identifies issues for the future.
