Increasing the personal and social efficiency of police officers enables them to cope with stressful situations.
Abstract
The police of the German state of North Rhine/Westphalia have devised a program of behavioral training which has improved emotional control and communicative skills. This has had a measurable positive effect on routine police work as well as on large scale operations. (Publisher abstract)
