Abstract
AN INTRODUCTION DISCUSSES THE PURPOSES OF THE CASEBOOK AND PROVIDES TIPS FOR VOLUNTEERS IN THE USE OF CASE MATERIAL AND THE MEDIA AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE. THE CASE STUDIES INCLUDE EXAMPLES OF ADULT AND JUVENILE PROBATION SUCCESSES AND FAILURES AND REACTIONS OF BOTH VOLUNTEERS AND PROBATIONERS TO THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING TOGETHER. THE CASE STUDIES ARE NARRATED BY THE VOLUNTEERS.
