Abstract
The Christian Identity movement is an extremist religious organization that advocates white supremacy and advocates violence against non-white races. The Identity movement has a number of leaders throughout the United States, many of whom claim to be minsters in the Identity church and many of whom have close ties to white supremacist organizations. One of the tenets of the movement is biblical economics, which focuses on the evils of money lending and money lenders. The movement's ideologies have led it to promote paramilitary and racist activities in the name of fighting Satanism in contemporary life.
