Abstract
THE OUTLINES IN THIS MANUAL DEAL WITH THE COMMUNICATION PROCESS, NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION, AND LISTENING. IN ADDITION, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONFLICT SITUATIONS ARE PRESENTED FOR GROUP DECISIONS. THE LATTER PORTION OF THE HANDBOOK CONTAINS AN EVALUATION OF A THREE AND A HALF DAY TRAINING SESSION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL HELD IN JANUARY 1972. A 36 PAGE BIBLIOGRAPHY OF MATERIALS PERTAINING TO LAW ENFORCEMENT, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON COMMUNICATIONS, IS INCLUDED.
