Abstract

The author reviews the capabilities of internal security devices such as mini-alarms, the NuTone S2252 detection/alarm system, the Chamberlain Intrusion Plus dual alarm system, the First Alert self-contained burglar intrusion alarm, various infrared intrusion devices, and other products. The discussion of ionization and photoelectric smoke and fire detection devices includes tips on proper placement.
