This compendium provides information on a combination of traditional and innovative juvenile delinquency prevention programs mounted by local juvenile probation departments in Texas.
The programs include examples of primary, secondary, and tertiary programs and services. The programs are presented under 22 broad topics. They include early intervention/first referral programs, court volunteer programs, parenting and family preservation programs, life skills programs, mentor and educational programs, outdoor adventure programs, community volunteer programs, restitution programs, victim assistance programs, and HIV/STD awareness programs.
