Abstract
A SYNOPSIS OF CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS IN DEVICES FOR REMOTELY MONITORING AND CONTROLLING HUMAN BEINGS IS PRESENTED. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE DEVELOPMENTS TO THE AREA OF CORRECTIONS IS POINTED OUT AND DISCUSSED. CONDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS ARE OUTLINED AS A SUGGESTED MEANS OF MINIMIZING THE MORAL AND LEGAL PROBLEMS INHERENT IN IMPLEMENTING SUCH BEHAVIORAL CONTROL SYSTEMS.
