IN ADDITION TO MORE SOPHISTICATED RELAYS AND RELAY CIRCUITS, NUMEROUS TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES IN ALARM SYSTEMS FOR INDUSTRIAL SECURITY HAVE BEEN MADE.
Abstract
ALARM INDUSTRIES NOW PRODUCE ELECTRONIC SPACE SENSORS WHICH EMIT WAVES CAPABLE OF DETECTING INTRUDERS WHO BYPASS PERIMETER PROTECTION DEVICES. OTHER SECURITY MEASURES INCLUDE VAULT SOUND DETECTION SYSTEMS, ALARM SYSTEMS COMBINING A PHOTOELECTRIC MOTION DETECTOR AND AN AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE DIALER, AND ANTI-HIJACKING SYSTEMS. THERE ARE ALSO MONITORING DEVICES WHICH ARE SENSITIVE TO EXCESSIVE TEMPERATURES OR SMOKE. A TREND NOTED IN THIS PAPER IS THE PRINTING OF CIRCUIT CARD MODULES AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF STANDARDIZED HARDWARE TO ACCEPT THEM. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
