Abstract
SOCIOLOGICAL CONCEPTS AND THEORIES ARE EXAMINED TO SHOW HOW THE PROBLEM OF DEALING WITH ETHNIC CLIENTS IN THE CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM IS BASIC ISSUE OF HUMAN RIGHTS. THE CONCLUSION IS DRAWN THAT THE PROBLEM MUST BE STUDIED FROM WIDER POLITICAL, MORAL, AND SOCIAL POLICY PERSPECTIVES. --SUMMARY IN FRENCH
