STUDY OF THE FAMILY AS A SOCIAL ORGANIZATION AND ITS INFLUENCE ON ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR IN MALE OFFSPRING.
Abstract
EXAMPLES OF FOUR TYPES OF FAMILY ORGANIZATIONS ARE PRESENTED, AND THE RELATIONSHIPS OF THE EXTENT OF POLICE CONTACT WITH THE BOYS AND DEGREE OF SUCCESS IN ADJUSTING TO THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT ARE ANALYZED. THE FAMILY TYPES WERE CONCEIVED ON THE BASIS OF TWO VARIABLES OF INTEGRATION - THE EXTENT OF AGREEMENT AMONG FAMILY MEMBERS ON EXPECTATIONS AND GOALS, AND THE NUMBER OF PROBLEMS PERCEIVED IN ATTAINING THOSE GOALS.
