Abstract
AN EXPLOSIVE CAN NOT BE RELIED ON TO PERFORM WITHOUT DEVIATION FROM THE MANNER IN WHICH IT WAS INTENDED. THIS OUTLINE DESCRIBES BOMB CARRIERS, EQUIPMENT FOR DISPOSAL WORK, AND CHARACTERISTICS OF EXPLOSIVES, AS WELL AS LAWS PERTAINING TO BOMBS AND EXPLOSIVES. CONSIDERATION IS GIVEN TO BOMB SCARES, DEPARTMENTAL AND MILITARY ORDANCE PROCEDURES TO BE OBSERVED WHEN INVESTIGATING SUSPECTED BOMBS - COMMERCIAL AND HOMEMADE.
