Studies of the use of group assertive training techniques in correctional settings are reviewed according to the group population treated: juvenile offenders, adult offenders, and correctional staff.
Abstract
While these investigations reveal an over-all pattern of positive results, the definitiveness of the conclusions is restricted by methodological weaknesses. Heuristic issues and directions for improvements in future research are presented. (Author abstract)
