EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A JOB PLACEMENT PROJECT CONDUCTED AT THE YOUTH TRAINING SCHOOL IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
Abstract
NO EVIDENCE WAS FOUND THAT THE JOB PLACEMENT PROJECT WAS SUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING ANY OF ITS OBJECTIVES. IT DID NOT INCREASE THE PROBABILITY THAT A WARD WOULD BE EMPLOYED AFTER RELEASE NOR DID IT INCREASE THE PROBABILITY THAT A WARD WOULD BE EMPLOYED IN A JOB RELATED TO THE TYPE OF TRAINING HE RECEIVED AT THE YOUTH TRAINING SCHOOL.
