Judicial statistics provide the annual, 1978, overview of criminal and civil action in the courts of the Netherlands as well as before dispute settlement administrative councils.
Abstract
Tables show the number of criminal proceedings of the Supreme Court, district, county, and military courts. County court activity is broken down into first and appeal proceedings, detention and preliminary judicial hearings, and court orders regarding public order. Civil litigation is also reported by court type. Administrative settlement hearings are delineated by type of dispute, e.g., insurance, pension, employment, taxation matters, etc. Also shown are judicial pardons and extradition cases. Court personnel statistics of the judicial system are given. The bulk of the document consists of tabular data.
