MAJOR SUBJECTS AREAS OF THE ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY INCLUDE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURTS IN SPECIFIC STATES: DECLINE AND REFORM, CONSTITUTIONALITY OF FEE SYSTEM, CONSTITUTIONALITY OF LAY JUDGE, HISTORICAL WORKS, GENERAL AND MISCELLANEOUS WORKS, AND HISTORICAL AND CONTEMPORARY WORKS RELATIVE TO JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURTS IN ENGLAND AND CANADA. WITHIN EACH SUBJECT AREA, ENTRIES ARE ARRANGED ALPHABETICALLY ACCORDING TO AUTHOR, WITH SOME ENTRIES ANNOTATED. THE BIBLIOGRAPHY CONSISTS ALMOST ENTIRELY OF PERIODICAL WORKS, PARTICULARLY LAW REVIEW ARTICLES AND PROFESSIONAL JOURNALS OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION.
