SOME OF THE ISSUES ADDRESSED INCLUDE: THE EVALUATION AND MONITORING CAPABILITIES OF LEAA OVER ITS PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS; THE TESTING, REPLICATION, AND EVALUATION OF CRIME REDUCTION THEORIES AND APPROCHES; THE ENFORCEMENT OF CIVIL RIGHTS LEGISLATION REQUIRING A CURTAILMENT OF FEDERAL FUNDING TO SERVICES, EMPLOYERS, AND GRANTEES PRACTICING RACIAL DISCRIMINATION; AND A REVIEW OF FUNDING AND PLANNING PROCESSES.
