THE DISCUSSION OF THE DIMENSIONS OF AND RESPONSES TO THE DRUG ABUSE PROBLEM COVERS THE FOLLOWING AREAS - CONTROL, RECOGNITION, AND INVESTIGATION OF DRUG ABUSE, AND TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION OF DRUG USERS. THE CATEGORIES OF SUBSTANCES COVERED ARE CANNABIS, STIMULANTS, SEDATIVES, HALLUCINOGENS, AND DELERIANTS. THE APPENDIX CONSISTS OF A DICTIONARY OF SLANG AND TECHNICAL TERMS ASSOCIATED WITH DRUGS. CITED AND EXCERPTED THROUGHOUT ARE STATE, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STATUTORY MATERIAL DRUG ABUSE.
