Abstract
THESE MATERIALS USED BY THE NATIONAL COMMISSION ON REFORM OF FEDERAL CRIMINAL LAWS CONSIST OF CONSULTANTS' REPORTS AND STAFF MEMORANDA USED AS A BASIS FOR STATUTORY PROVISIONS SUBMITTED TO THE COMMISSION. THE PAPERS TREAT GENERAL PROVISIONS, SPECIFIC OFFENSES, AND THE SENTENCING SYSTEM. AFTER DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION, THE MATERIAL WILL BE USED TO FORMULATE THE STUDY DRAFT FOR CONSIDERATION BY CONGRESS, THE JUDICIARY, LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES, AND INTERESTED ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS BEFORE THE FINAL CRIMINAL CODE IS PRESENTED TO CONGRESS.
