Abstract
CARGO THEFT, FENCING, AND LABOR RACKETEERING ARE TYPICAL ORGANIZED CRIME ACTIVITIES. THE PATROL OFFICER CAN BE EFFECTIVE BY BRINGING THE VICE ACTIVITIES OF ORGANIZED CRIME UNDER CONTINUOUS POLICE ATTACK, BY GATHERING INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION, AND BY COOPERATING WITH OTHER FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES.
