RESEARCH WHICH TESTED TWENTY-SEVEN HYPOTHESES ABOUT FEMALE DELINQUENTS' PERCEPTIONS ON THE ADEQUACY OF PARENTAL ROLES IN KEY AREAS OF THEIR LIFE EXPERIENCE.
Abstract
THE EXPERIMENT REPLICATED THE PROCEDURES AND DESIGN OF AN EARLIER STUDY ON MALE DELINQUENTS. RESEARCH FINDINGS INDICATED THAT GIRL TRUANTS LACKED PATERNAL LOVE AND AFFECTION AT HOME, AND WERE LIKELY TO SUFFER FROM EXCESSIVE LONELINESS, LOW SELF-ESTEEM, ESTRANGEMENT FROM ADULTS, AND INCAPACITY FOR FRIENDSHIPS WITH CONTEMPORARIES.
