AN ILLUSTRATED SELF-INSTRUCTIVE TRAINING PAMPHLET FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A POSITIVELY-ORIENTED PROFESSIONAL POLICE IMAGE BASED ON VISUAL, AUDITORY AND TACTILE INTERACTION.
Abstract
THE GUIDELINES AND SUGGESTIONS PRESENTED HEREIN AFFECT THE DEPORTMENT OF THE POLICE OFFICER AND HIS USE OF THE RESOURCES AT HIS COMMAND. FOR INSTANCE, A GOOD VISUAL IMAGE IS BUILT NOT ONLY BY THE OFFICER BEING NEATLY ATTIRED, BUT BY HIS BEING SEEN IN A CLEAN PATROL CAR. IMAGE BUILDING WITH SOUND INCLUDES PERSONAL AND TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS AS WELL AS THE USE OF MECHANICAL NOISE MAKERS SUCH AS POLICE SIRENS.
