DISCUSSION OF THE CAUSES OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF CORRECTIVE AND PREVENTIVE EDUCATIONAL MEASURES IN LJUBLJANA, YUGOSLAVIA.
Abstract
ON THE BASIS OF DATA ON THE EXISTING JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM, THE AUTHOR PLEADS FOR BETTER COORDINATION OF DIFFERENT SERVICES CONCERNED WITH YOUTH AND JUVENILE DELINQUENCY. IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AT THE FIRST SIGNS OF MALADJUSTMENT AT SCHOOL. FURTHERMORE, SCHOOLS SHOULD HAVE MORE FLEXIBLE PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO ADAPT TO THE POTENTIALITIES AND DEFICIENCES OF A PARTICULAR CHILD. THE AUTHOR BELIEVES THAT EARLY PREVENTIVE WORK SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT IN THE CHILD'S CLOSEST ENVIRONMENT. --IN SERBO CROATIAN. SUMMARY IN ENGLISH...TL
