COMPARISON OF THE RESULTS OF PSYCHOMOTOR FUNCTION TESTS GIVEN TO FRENCH JUVENILE DELINQUENTS AND NORMAL JUVENILES.
Abstract
ONE OF THE TWO TESTS GIVEN WAS ONLY CONCERNED WITH ELEMENTARY PSYCHOMOTOR FUNCTION. THE OTHER CALLED FOR MENTAL ACTIVITY OF A COMBINING NATURE ALONG WITH PSYCHOMOTOR FUNCTION. ON THE LATTER TEST, A FEW MORE JUVENILE DELINQUENTS SCORED 'ACCURATE-SLOW' OR 'INACCURATE-FAST', WHILE ON THE FORMER TEST THE NUMBER OF 'ACCURATE-SLOW' AND 'INACCURATE-FAST' JUVENILE DELINQUENTS WAS ABOUT THE SAME. ON THE LATTER TEST, THE JUVENILE DELINQUENTS, ON THE AVERAGE, FELL BETWEEN THE 'ACCURATE-SLOWS' AND THE 'INACCURATE-SLOWS' - THAT IS, THE 'SLOWS' - AND ON THE FORMER TEST, ON THE AVERAGE, THEY FELL AMONG THE 'INACCURATE-FASTS' - THAT IS, THOSE IN A HURRY. --IN FRENCH
