This article provides the course title, course content summary, and instructor bio for each of the 110 courses that compose the preliminary program for the 2014 National Gang Crime Research Center's 17th International Gang Specialist Training Conference.
Abstract
Among the broad range of gang-related topics covered are gang prevention measures, gang intelligence collection and use, gang graffiti, gang-crime analysis, gang-unit management, types of gang interventions, prison gangs and their management, gang types, gang-related strategies, gang mapping, and gang tattoo removal. Also addressed in the course are gangs in foreign countries, gang involvement in drug trafficking, gang violence, correctional programs for gang members, and gang involvement in organized crime and terrorism.
