EXAMINATION OF THE PERSONALITY OF THE ACCUSED IS VIEWED AS IMPERATIVE FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPLICATION OF THE SENTENCE.
Abstract
AUTHOR STATES THAT EXAMINATION OF THE ACCUSED'S PERSONALITY SHOULD BE MEDICO-PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL, SO THAT IT IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO MAKE A DIAGNOSIS OF THE PERSONALITY AND ASSESS ITS CRIMINAL CAPACITY AND THE SOCIAL DANGER THAT IT REPRESENTS. EXAMINATION OF PERSONALITY CAN ALSO BE APPLIED TO TREATMENT OF OFFENDERS. PRISON CRIMINOLOGICAL DEPARTMENTS SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED.
