Abstract
PROPOSED ARE DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR SECURITY GUARDS AND ALTERATION OF THE JAIL SETTING FROM CUSTODY-ORIENTED TO A THERAPEUTIC MILIEU. THE AUTHOR SUGGESTS A SOCIAL SYSTEM STUDY OF THE JAIL SETTING, AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CRIMINAL TYPOLOGY FOR THE PURPOSE OF OFFENDER-TREATMENT MATCHING.
