The major approaches to school-based substance abuse prevention are reviewed.
Abstract
This article focuses on school organizational issues which must be considered in the implementation of substance abuse prevention programs. The need for multilevel interventions, which include parents, the community, and media, is also explored. (Author abstract modified)
