This report presents a comprehensive, but select listing of Federal Asset Forfeiture statutes prepared by the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, as well as statutes amended by the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, the Stop Counterfeiting in Manufactured Goods Act, and the USA PATRIOT Improvement and Reauthorization Act.
Abstract
Select Asset Forfeiture statutes are presented, as prepared by the U.S. Department of Justice under Title 7, Title 8, Title 15, Title 16, Title 17, Title 18, Title 19, Title 22, Title 26, Title 28, Title 31, Title 42, Title 46, Title 49, and Title 50. Select forfeiture statutes are also presented for general rules for civil forfeiture proceedings (CAFRA), Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, and Supplemental rules for certain admiralty and maritime cases. A Specified Unlawful Activity Table is presented of all those violations of Federal and State or foreign law identified as “specified unlawful activity” under 18 U.S.C. 1956©(7). Lastly a table is presented listing other various Asset Forfeiture Statutes under the various Titles and Sections of the statutes. In addition to Asset Forfeiture Statutes, the report includes: statutes amended by the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, the Stop Counterfeiting in Manufactured Goods Act, and the USA PATRIOT Improvement and Reauthorization Act.
