THE AUTHOR STATES THAT THE ENACTMENT OF NEW PENAL LAWS IN POLAND HAS RESULTED IN INCREASED EFFECTIVENESS OF MEASURES TO PREVENT AND CONTROL CRIMINALITY - BY IMPROVING THE PROGRAMMING AND PLANNING OF THE STRUGGLE AGAINST DELINQUENCY, BY EXTENDING INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH ON CRIMINALITY, AND BY INTRODUCING NEW EDUCATIONAL AND PENITENTIARY EXPERIMENTS.
