Abstract
Each source is presented with Originating Organization, Year, Format, Length, Topic, Target Audience, Availability, Cost, and a brief summary. The many topics covered in source references include: (1) physical, emotional, historical, and societal effects of inhalants; (2) dangers and consequences of using inhalants; (3) products that can be used as inhalants; (4) how inhalants affect the mind and body and how they can lead to addiction and death; (5) how various drugs are taken; (6) parents' guide to inhalant abuse; (7) classroom materials, kits, and educational tools; (8) preventing inhalant abuse; (9) signs and symptoms of inhalant abuse; and (10) policy statements. The document also includes lists of Federal and State resources as well as resources in Canada.
