Abstract
THE BOOKLET HAS TWO OBJECTIVES: TO CREATE AN AWARENESS AMONG GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS OF THE THREAT OF TERRORISM; AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP EXECUTIVES AND THEIR SECURITY PERSONNEL DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT TERRORISM CONTINGENCY PROGRAMS. THE NATURE OF TERRORIST ACTIVITIES IS EXAMINED, AND THE GOALS AND TACTICS OF TERRORISTS ARE DEFINED. SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON OFFICE, HOME, LOCK, AND VEHICLE SECURITY IS PRESENTED, TOGETHER WITH CHECKLISTS AND ILLUSTRATED SECURITY TIPS. A SECTION ON ASSISTANCE LISTS FEDERAL AGENCIES THAT CAN PROVIDE INFORMATION AND EXPERTISE ON HANDLING TERRORIST SITUATIONS AND DEVELOPING EXECUTIVE PROTECTION PROGRAMS.
