These experts on terrorism are from the government, police departments, and universities as well as computer, medical, biological, and chemical specialists. The problems of terrorism are discussed along with practical suggestions on how to deal with and mitigate the impact of terrorist acts. International terrorist organizations in every part of the world are dissected with a listing of terrorist acts, an estimate of numbers and strength, and the countries that sponsor terrorist groups. A chronology of significant terrorist acts during 2000 is included as well as a report on terrorism in every area of the world. Chapter subjects include Terrorism and Public Policy, Chemical and Bioterrorism, and Medical Aspects of Terrorism.
