Abstract
THE ARTICLE DESCRIBES HOW VOLUNTEERS ARE BEING UTILIZED WITHIN THIS DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDES GUIDELINES FOR THE SCREENING AND TRAINING OF VOLUNTEERS. THE AUTHOR FEELS THAT VOLUNTEERS ARE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING ESSENTIALLY THE SAME SERVICES TO OFFENDERS AS THOSE PROVIDED BY THE PROFESSIONAL STAFF.
