Abstract
THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE STANDARDS AND PERFORMANCE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES INVITED SECURITY DIRECTORS AND STATE POLICE OFFICIALS TO MEET FOR DISCUSSIONS ON THIS TROUBLESOME AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY. THE PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO EXPLORE BASIC QUESTIONS OF PHILOSOPHY, INVENTORY THE PROBLEMS, EXCHANGE IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES, AND COMPARE AND EVALUATE PROCEDURES AND INTERAGENCY RELATIONSHIPS.
