Abstract

The articles discuss the impact of gang membership on families of members, the effectiveness of a school dress code in preventing gang penetration, the use of street names for gang members, and the significance of gang-related graffiti. The impact of gangs on business and citizens is explored, and the articles identify prevalent gangs in the Denver metropolitan area, including white gangs or skinheads, Asian gangs, the Bloods and Crips, Hispanic and Mexican nationalist gangs, and females in gangs.
