HE RECOMMENDS A HOME SECURITY SURVEY COMPLETED BY A SECURITY SPECIALIST, A LOCKSMITH, AND FIRE PREVENTION INSPECTORS WITH SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVING HOME SECURITY. A SIMILAR OFFICE SURVEY IS ALSO ADVISED. CONSIDERATION IS THEN GIVEN TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN EXTORTION DEFENSE PLAN WHICH SHOULD DESIGNATE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTION TO BE TAKEN SHOULD SUCH AN INCIDENT OCCUR. THIS PLAN INCLUDES GUIDANCE FOR PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES, A CHECKLIST FOR ACTIONS UPON RECEIPT OF THREAT OR NOTICE OF VIOLENCE, AND ROUTINE PROCEDURES IN PROTECTION OF SENIOR EXECUTIVES. A CHECKLIST FOR OFFICE AND RESIDENTIAL SECURITY COVERS LOCKS AND ALARMS, FIRE PREVENTION, AND GENERAL SECURITY.
