THE PRIMARY MISSION OF MILITARY WORKING DOGS, WHILE ASSIGNED TO SECURITY POSTS, IS TO DETECT AND WARN THE HANDLER OF THE PRESENCE OF AN INTRUDER! PATROL-DETECTOR DOGS ARE ALSO USED WHEREVER DRUG TRAFFIC OR USAGE IS A PROBLEM.
