Abstract
CRIMINOLOGY IS THE STUDY OF HUMAN BEINGS, AND VICTIMOLOGY IS A PART OF CRIMINOLOGY BUT IT CANNOT BE DEALTH WITH AS A SEPARATE, ISOLATED STUDY. THE FACT THAT THE VICTIM OF A HOMOSEXUAL ACT MAY THEN BLACKMAIL HIS ASSAILANT ILLUSTRATES THE REVERSIBILITY OF THE POSITIONS OF VICTIM AND OFFENDER. SO DOES THE FACT THAT THE FINANCIALLY WEAK VICTIMS OF THE FINANCIALLY STRONG, WHO KEEP ADDING TO THEIR WEALTH AT THEIR EXPENSE, MAY TURN THE TABLES THROUGH A VIOLENT REACTION AGAINST THEM, IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THIS PHENOMENON. --IN DUTCH
