The National Resource Center for Reaching Victims (NRC) presents a series of Impact Briefs based on the findings of its series of listening sessions designed to identify the impact of the COVID-19 health crisis on particular groups of underserved crime victims and how to better resource crime-victim servers to respond to those needs.
Abstract
Each Impact Brief summarizes the issues and strategies that emerged from the listening sessions regarding how the COVID-19 health crisis is impacting an identified underserved survivor group. An Impact Brief is available for each of the following crime-survivor groups: boys and men of color, children and youth, people with disabilities, girls and women of color, immigrant and limited English proficient survivors, LGBTQ+ survivors, older adults, and survivors with incarceration histories. Each downloadable Impact Brief identifies some of the needs and creative solutions for the targeted underserved survivor group based on the listening sessions, strategy sessions, and conversations with survivors.
